Between events I have been working on the SR car to try to clean it up and update it a bit since the last rebuild. The rear quarter had been tagged a few times, and most recently at the Long Beach Team Drift so I cut it out just like we did to the V8 car.
made new trunk pins for the hatch…
I bent this tube to follow the hatch seal and tacked it in place to give it good support. I also trimmed off all the excess metal for a clean edge.
I then remade the exhaust since the old one was about 5 years old and had been banged along the ground several times…
