We have been working away on the SR car the past week or so to get it ready for Time Attack this weekend. This will be the first time I ever entered a Time Attack event so we are excited to see how we do!

One of the things on the list was to build a rear diffuser for the car to help with the airflow at high speed. So we took a piece that we had around the shop and trimmed it to fit the rear bumper. Then I had to make brackets to hold it on. I made cardboard templates first.

Then I traced them onto steel and cut and bent them to match the template.

Test fitting…

Then painted them black and threw the setup in. Looks good!
