There is still a lot of work that needs to be done before the weekend… But I wanted to post up an update…
We got new front wheel bearings for the car, as the old ones were in need of replacing…
New block waiting to get built…
Bottom end coming together…
Then we pulled out the old motor, its been getting beat up for the past 3 years on all stock internals!
The good news about this engine was that the bottom end was still in perfect shape! The bad news was that this meant that our head that we needed is wrecked! Kevin started taking the head apart so we can try and get a valve job before the weekend and still make the race!
