Updates on the new simulator. I fabbed up this handbrake setup which has the same dimensions and leverage points as the 350Z.
I drilled a hole through the box tube and hammered this sleeve in.
Welded the sleeve into place, sanded it down all smooth, and then hammered in a bronze sleeve.
Now you can see the handbrake all mounted up! I got my new Seibon Carbon seat too! The seat I was building the simulator with was from the SR car… You can also see I got the aluminum plating cut and trimmed to fit around the shifter and support beams. Almost done!
