East Coast Bash Video

Another amazing video capturing the awesomeness of the best grassroots event in the country. Drivers from all over flock to East Coast Bash for the amazing atmosphere on the track and in the pits. There is hardly ever less than four cars running tandem at any given moment. You can see me in my white Nissan 240 coupe with the orange wheels running tandem with my Drift Alliance buddies!

Hundreds of Rides!!!

Our Infiniti M56 has been put to work recently giving out 200+ rides in the past month. Our first event was duiring Hyperfest at Summit Point, West Virginia where we held charity rides to benefit the Wounded Warrior program. The event was a complete success as we sold out every seat in the car for both sessions! We were able to raise $2,400 in an hour and a half of ride-alongs! Vaughn Gittin Jr and I hit the track showing these fans real tandem drifting!

We also were asked to take our cars out on the main course for a pre event showing of Formula Drift level tandem drifting. With no time in the schedule for us to warm up or practice the main track, Vaughn and I discussed approximate entry, braking, and shift points on the track so we could lay down a great run right off the bat.

The next big outing was during the famous Club Loose East Coast Bash weekend. We had been chatting with Matt Petty about bringing out the Infiniti to do charity rides where all the proceeds would go to the New Jersey SPCA as we all have a fond love for our 4-legged friends. We had allotted for nearly 200 rides over the course of 2 days. We had a number of pre-sold seats and fans were signing up faster than we could get through them once the event kicked off Saturday morning!

We were in our 3rd session with over 100 rides already done when our engine management system shut down. We lost voltage to our injectors and were unable to continue. Had this been our competition car we would have had a spare computer but we do not carry a spare for this vehicle as this is a very uncommon problem. Even though this never really happens, I will most likely switch this computer to the Electromotive system that we use on our competition car.

Regardless, the weekend was still a success in my eyes as we raised thousands of dollars for the NJSPCA and put smiles on faces that had never been in a drift car before. We are currently planning more events to utilize the Infiniti to continue providing rides to our fans!
